The rapper known as The Game created quite a bit of stir on Twitter yesterday when he unveiled his cover for his upcoming album, Jesus Piece. Hate it or love it, the underdog’s trying to get his way back to the top. The album cover is of Jesus Christ rocking a red bandana over his face while wearing a chunky Jesus piece. It’s described as art by some and blasphemous by others. Personally, an album is supposed to be an expression of the artist’s music. If that’s what he believes best represents his album, why shouldn’t he be able to use it? It’s called creative expression, people. I do believe that’s what the Parental Advisory sticker was created for. Scheduled to drop and be available for purchase on December 11. What do you think of this controversial album cover? Do you think this will help or hurt The Game in album sales. Do you think his album will be overhyped because of the cover art? Do you believe that artists should be allowed freedom of expression when it comes to their art work without being told that they can’t use it because it’ll create religious or social controversy?
