This is big news if you’re a follower of the Miami music/hip hop scene. If you’ve been hiding under some kind of stone age rock, Pitbull started out as Dade County rapper hustling under Uncle Luke’s record label before he skyrocketed into international stardom after “turning pop”. He might have gone from rocking tall white tees to bright colored blazers, but this Miami rapper has never forgotten about his roots. If you pay attention to his music, he always makes a reference to his hometown. Pitbull is featured on the cover of the Nov 22 issue of a special 15 page section in the magazine. The section focuses on the 10 Best Latin Rock Albums of All Time. He’s had some of the biggest pop hits, worked with the biggest names, and even has movie soundtrack credits on his resume. This should be motivation to anybody in the Miami music scene who are on the come up. If a Dade County chico called Pitbull can dominate international charts, why can’t you?
‘Global Warming’ will be available worldwide on November 19.
