lotto

The powerball has been the topic of many conversations this weekend. Everyone can dream about what they would do with that kind of money. The issue is we are conditioned to work toward winning the lottery, work meaning spend our money on a lottery ticket and hope, rather than actually doing something that’s more likely to yield us that money. There’s this idea floating around that money will solve everything so we try and find easy ways to get it because then our lives will be complete. That idea is what keeps so many people right where they are, stuck in mediocrity. I only know because I used to be there. Before I really understood the law of attraction, I thought all I had to do was hope for something to happen and then voila! It would happened. One thing I always wished for was more money. And for some reason I thought it would just fall into my lap or that I could just do something that would give me money quickly and easily and I could just live richly ever after. Clearly this isn’t how the world works.

Now, I despise the lottery. It’s nothing but another mind game that consumers get caught up in. I realize  tickets aren’t expensive but because of the number of people who play, as a whole, consumers are really losing out. How about taking a risk on something that has a greater chance of bringing you the money you seek as well as personal fulfillment? You are unique and there’s something you can do that no one else in the world can do like you. Whatever that is will bring you all the money and happiness you need in life. At least this is what I tell myself. I believe that in sharing my thoughts with people, inspiring their thoughts which turn into actions that can help them better their life, I will realize my dream of being wealthy. It’s inevitable that I will reach this if I put in the necessary work. The only thing inevitable about playing the lottery is that my chances of winning are way less than my chances of living my best life.

Go ahead and think about what you would do with all of that money that the powerball winner won. Then think of what you can do that will bring you that kind of money as well as happiness and peace of mind. Then do it! You always get what you believe you can have and what you work for. Everything in your life is there because it’s what you think you can have. If you want more from life, first start thinking that you can have it. Just know that money won’t solve everything. Money may not even be your problem. There’s some thought in your mind that’s creating whatever problems you think you have. Change your thoughts and change your life.
