Hey! It’s the weekend bitches! Now I don’t know about yall, but this week was a bit chilly in Philly (hehehe! That rhymes), for June. AND, to add insult to injury, it’s gonna rain most of the weekend. This is the perfect opportunity for me to finish some home improvement projects I started ( I’ve been painting my kitchen for like three weeks); however, I am more likely to be laying on my couch, drinking wine and shopping online all weekend (yall gonna acknowledge that rhyme I just made or nah?)

For those of you with a sunny forecast this weekend go out and enjoy it. And while you’re there, be sure to spend a lil something on that special father in your life, as Father’s Day is approaching. For that reason, and that reason only, this week is dedicated to the fellas.

Nike Lebron X PS

So I kinda have a love affair with the Lebrons ever since the “South Beach” version. These are just as hot, especially since turquoise is my fav color. If he’s is into athletic footwear, these are a go.

Kenneth Cole Reaction Roof Top Loafer

Kenneth Cole
I adore this loafer. The style makes it a classic, but the color makes it fun (other colors are available, if bold colors aren’t his twist). Plus it is versatile enough to wear casually or dressed up. I give it two thumbs up.

Polo Ralph Lauren Vaughn Sneaker

Ralph Lauren Vaughn
Yes, I know these have been out forever, but if it ain’t broke don’t fix it. This probably my favorite shoe on a man, period. It looks good with jeans, khakis, cargos, shorts…you get the idea. And, it will never go out of style. These are perfect for the guy who likes a clean, classic look.

Now, I know men love a tasty drink just as much as women; however, there is nothing masculine about a man ordering, and then proceeding to drink a Cosmopolitan. To help the fellas out here is a drink that is tough enough for a man, but sweet enough for a woman.

Red Death
(cut ingredients in half to make as a shot)
.5 oz Amaretto
.5 oz Sloe Gin
.5 oz Southern Comfort
.5 oz Vodka
.5 oz Triple Sec
.5 oz lime juice
3 oz OJ
Combine all ingredients, except orange juice in a Collins glass with ice. Shake. Top with orange juice. Enjoy!

Until next time…
