The HBO series “Game of Thrones”, based on the “A Song of Ice and Fire” series of books by George R.R. Martin, has begun casting actors and registering extras for the fourth season. The Medieval fantasy drama serial will not be holding any open casting calls for extras but are accepting registration from new talent through online submissions. Principal actors are being cast in London, while the background actors are hired in Northern Ireland. Some smaller speaking roles are also cast in Ireland. Non-United Kingdom talent must have the proper work permits and Visa to work on “Game of Thrones” Season 4 (see below).

“Game of Thrones” features a large and stellar cast that includes Aidan Gillen as Petyr “Littlefinger” Baelish; Lena Headey as Cersei Baratheon, Queen of the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros; Jack Gleeson plays Joffrey Baratheon, the Crown Prince of the Seven Kingdoms; Stephen Dillane is Stannis Baratheon, Lord of Dragonstone; Rory McCann portrays Sandor “The Hound” Clegane; Peter Dinklage as Tyrion “The Imp” Lannister; and the stunning beauty Emilia Clarke plays the popular role of Daenerys Targaryen, the exiled Princess of House Targaryen. Other cast members include Alfie Allen, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Carice van Houten, Iain Glen, Sibel Kekilli, Sophie Turner, Richard Madden, Michelle Fairley, and Kit Harington, among many others.

Although each consecutive season is approximately based on the next book in the “A Song of Ice and Fire” series, producers David Benioff and D.B. Weiss have said that they think of Game of Thrones as an adaptation of the novel series as a whole, rather than of individual books, which gives them the liberty to move scenes back and forth across books according to the requirements of the screen adaptation. The series includes A Game of Thrones, A Clash of Kings, A Storm of Swords (Part 1 Steel and Snow; Part 2 Blood and Gold), A Feast for Crows, A Dance with Dragons (Part 1 Dreams and Dust; Part 2 After the Feast), The Winds of Winter, and A Dream of Spring.

“Game of Thrones” is currently casting for thousands of extras to take part in the production of season 4. All extra work is fully paid, and there are no fees to register with the casting agency.

They need people of all ages, shapes and sizes, but for season four they specifically need the following:
