So, April Fools Day definitely belonged to no other than MMG‘s own (& DC artist) Fat Trel.  Why do I say this?  Well, this talented rapper dropped his Gleesh mixtape (excuse the cover art sensitive folks) and its been download thousands of times since.

For those of you who need a couple of reasons to download Gleesh for your personal use, here are a couple.

  • Fat Trel is as real and raw as it gets.  If you follow him on any social media platform, you see rather quickly that he has no filter.  Anything that is worth sharing with his audience – he delivers to them easily.  You can hear this although the lyrics of this fifteen track mixtape.
  • This MMG introductory project is a perfect way to familiarize yourself with Fat Trel.  Within this Gleesh project, you can already see the controversy (check the cover art) and the humor (In his forthcoming lyrics and song titles – come on – ‘Thot Street’ though?  Yes.  He rapped about those too.).
  • Did I mention the mixtape has some impressive cameos on it?  Of course, MMG Boss Rick Ross is there (on the ‘Shoot’ remix), DC label-mate Wale is there and his fellow homies P Wild and Boosa are featured as well.  That’s about as real as it gets.

Now, check out this impressively transparent mixtape for yourself below and be the judge.
