If a music legend gave you the chance to work with them personally and in the end possibly sign you to their independent record label, what would you do? In this new eight episode docu-series, Make or Break: The Linda Perry Project, Linda Perry does just that. Don’t make the mistake of thinking it’s an American Idol or The Voice type show though. They might be “competing” to get signed but the difference is drastic. Not only did Linda personally choose the artists herself but the show isn’t based off of America’s votes either. It’s not even about how well you sing somebody else’s song. It’s more like an artist development situation where Linda Perry is guiding and pushing artists out of their comfort zone for 18 days to become the best that they can possibly be. After you see the first episode, you’ll definitely understand why I plan on being tuned in. Fun Fact: If you follow Miami music, you’ll recognize a familiar face (Anjuli Stars – a dope lyricist and singer from the Yayo) in the cast.
